Daily Blog- 30th January

SNOW!! It snowed last night. There wasn't alot of snow but it was enough this morning to feel like it was Christmas again. Why couldn't it have snowed last month? Oh well. Me and my friend you know are like two children when it comes to snow. I realised this morning that the journey to college would be the first time I will have driven in my car in the snow. So I thought I would give this a try and see what you all think about it. Im going to try and write a few daily blogs just like a diary. A few years ago I used to always write a diary as a way of coping with things happening around me at school. I have recently starting writing again and I would like to keep you all informed on what's happening in my life. To be honest today hasn't been that interesting as I've just really been sitting at the computer working on research and my units, how boring is that? Like seriously how more boring could today have got? So I just spent the time working and listening to s

New Ideas!!

So I'm only going to keep this post short as I have a few new posts to share with you all. 'GirlOnline' Review Part 2- I'm currently writing up part two of my book review. I know that the last review you all seemed to like it, so I'm making sure that this next one is even better! Favourite things- I have loads of favourite places to go and shop in, favourite music, films and TV shows, so I'm going to share with you all what they are. 2015 Holiday's- I'm going on two holiday's this year and I would love to tell you more about where I'm going and WHO I'm going with!  Future Plans- As you all know I am currently studying health and social care at college, well I am hoping that this year I will be able to find a job working with special needs children. Shopping- Whenever Me, my Mom or my Nan go shopping to Birmingham or I travel in with my friends, I always end up going into the same shops. Whether it's a trip into Primark or a visit t

'Girl Online' Book Review, PART ONE

So the other week I decided to go and buy 'Girl Online'. If you don't know this book I'll tell you a bit about it. This book was written by one of my favourite YouTubers Zoe Sugg aka Zoella. I found out about this book from the videos Zoella made a while ago. I normally don't read books but I thought I might try this one. So from now on I'm going to keep you all updated on where I am in the story and what I think about it. The first few pages I have found interesting. This type of story isn't my normal genre to read. I am normally interested in the more fantasy/ crime/ romance novels, so this maybe this might just be my type of book or not! (I suppose we will have to find out!) Penny is the name of the main character. At the start you read one of Penny's blogs and you really get to know who her blog may be aimed at. It's nice to see how an image of this character is really shown just in the start of the novel. I found that the book didn'

My Day off/ learning to drive!

I love my day's off. It allows me to sit down with my college work and just spend time working on it all. But sometimes its just nice to relax and watch the TV. I dont know about anyone else out there, but im addicted to Netflix at the moment. One of my favourite shows that I'm watching is White Collar, I've got to say Neil is quite hot even if he is a little bit older than me. If anyone knows of any more good shows to look at let me know because I would love to check them out. I think now that I am able to drive, it's great having the freedom to get out the house without my parents constantly knowing where I am. With my driving it toke me just under a year to pass my test. I started learning last year around the end of January, for me learning to drive was a must!! Both my parents learnt and it's one of the best things they have ever done. I am really glad I learnt though as now it allows me to get to work and back on my own and go to college with my friends. I

COLLEGE !!

As you probably know, I am currently attending college. I think here in the UK college is a little bit different to what college may be like in America or any where else in the world. So in our group we have all us girls but we also have a male in our group. When we all first started it was kinda strange having just one lad in our group but he didn't seem that bothered. To be honest he has really started to mix well with everyone. For me starting at college was a fresh clean slate. I could walk in with my head held high and know that someone in our group was going to accept me for who I am. I finally didn't have to worry about walking down the corridors knowing that at any time I could bump into one of the girls who bullied me. I could finally walk around college with new friends and start a new life. The girls at college used to ask me, 'How did you cope?' I would always tell them that when I would get bullied, I just thought about my Mom, my Nan and the thoug

All About Me

Hello. Someone once told me that the first word in a friendship is HELLO.  So i wanted to start this blog by just saying hello to everyone who is reading this, it means alot to me.  My name is Hailey and I am 18 years old. Currently I am employed as a bar tender in a wine bar, I started there after my previous job slowly laid me off work. I used to be a waitress, being a waitress when I first started was the scariest thing ever. I suppose you could say that I didn't have that much confidence when i started but as time went by I found that by talking to complete strangers during my shifts really helped me to open up more to others. College is a massive part of my life right now, I am studying Health and Social care hoping to become a special needs teaching assistant.  Last year I started learning to drive in January and I ended up passing my practical test in December. I've been though a lot over the last few years, I suppose you could say that high school for me was
