ARGGHH The Dentist
I don't like going to the dentist it's one of them things that I would happily not go too. But I think because I always had to go and see my orthodontist for my braces, I some how got more used to it.
I had braces for about 4 1/2 years. I was their longest patient going and it was nice to think that I had really grown up with them. It feels strange to think that when I first started, I was still at high school being bullied. Then last year before my 18th Birthday when I had them removed, I was finally a more confident person and I found ways of improving my confidence every day. I was also working and had just started my second year at college.
Today we are just having a check up done to make sure that everything is all okay with the health and quality of our teeth. I'm going today with my Mom and Luke (my younger brother).
During my lunch toady I decided to go to the cafe that I'm always going too, Cafe Del Nino in Cannock. Now I normally ring them beforehand and place my order and then when I head of for lunch It's all ready for me and now they even know what my usual is, (okay I maybe go in there a few too many times, but it's so nice). I always have the Spicy Tomato Pasta, it's so nice and I think because they make it fresh right there and then it just tastes better and better each time. YUM
Also during my lunch I decided to go into the shop a few doors up from the cafe and bought my self two things.
The first one (top picture) is a small stone that you can either place on a keyring or a necklace. I've never had this stone before so I am hoping that it can help me with a few different things. The stone is called Rose Quartz, it's a love stone. I love everything like this I just feel that it gives me a sense of warmth that helps me with different things happening in my life. The other one that I have at home is a Tigers Eye. That one helps with enhancing integrity, will power self-confidence, practicality and also correct use of power. This stone is one of the things that has helped me many times to get though all the tough stages of high school and especially my Exams. If anyone ever wants me to talk about how I revised for my Exams or how I coped with the bullying at school, I will always be happy to share with you just let me know.
As you can see I also got a bracelet too with many different colours of stones. This is an all round bracelet where all the stones are there with you all the time. As they all mean different things I am hoping that they can help to balance out my life more. The one that particularly caught my eye was the bright blue one, it just really stands out from the rest.
